The Last Wish is the important Yennefer commitment checkpoint. After the djinn encounter, tell her you still love her to continue that romance, or choose the rejection to end it. Finish the quest before taking Uma from Crow’s Perch during Ugly Baby; the cited legacy player reports identify that story advance as the cutoff.
Find the Skellige meeting
The historical route begins after the Freya’s Garden story sequence. Meet Yennefer in Larvik’s Warriors’ Hall and follow her search for the djinn. If you have no quest entry yet, compare your Skellige story progress before assuming you missed it.
Keep a manual save before collecting Uma if you still want to complete this quest. Once a quest is failed on a later branch, visiting the old meeting location does not undo the history of that save.
Follow the search rather than skipping the dives
The route involves several dive locations, a broken seal and the wreck on the mountain. At the wreck, investigate the blood and the bookcase to locate Amos’s body and the other part of the seal. Continue through the djinn encounter until the relationship dialogue appears; finding the wreck is not the commitment itself.
Choose one main relationship
| Your aim | Choice |
|---|---|
| Continue with Yennefer | Confirm the feelings remain after the spell is broken |
| End this relationship | Choose the rejection |
| Compare Yennefer and Triss | Use separate saves rather than committing to both |
Earlier intimacy is not interchangeable with this decision. For Triss’s separate commitment, use Now or Never. This page describes the historical quest route; we have not verified a new Remastered cutoff or a patch that restores a failed romance quest.
