Getting started

White Orchard Places of Power: locations and how to draw power

Find White Orchard’s six stones and hold the interaction to draw power; repeated visits do not grant another first-use skill point.

White Orchard has six legacy Places of Power, covering five Signs with Quen appearing twice. Hold the displayed interaction to finish drawing power. A quick tap can leave the action incomplete. The first-use skill point and the temporary Sign buff are different benefits.

Use landmarks instead of a missing pin

SignLegacy landmark
IgniCemetery north of the Mill; watch for the wraith
AardFarther north, near the ghoul nest
AxiiWest of the Mill, between Sawmill and Garrison
QuenEast of Cackler Bridge, near a monster nest
QuenSouth of Broken Bridge
YrdenEast of Abandoned Village; beware the nearby bear

If the stone gives no point

  1. Clear immediate threats so the interaction is not interrupted.
  2. Stand close enough for the draw-power prompt.
  3. Hold the indicated control until the action completes.
  4. Check your available points and whether this character already used that stone.

Returning to the same stone can refresh its buff, but is not a repeatable skill-point farm. Do not confuse the temporary buff expiring with the permanent first-use point disappearing. If you are unsure, test a genuinely unvisited stone rather than repeatedly meditating at one you already used.

Plan the rest of the hunt

Use the regional map directory when moving beyond White Orchard. Some later stones require story access; a visible web-map pin is not proof you can reach it now. Remastered reworked skills, so an old guide’s advice about skill ranks or slot unlocks should not be applied automatically to the current tree. Check the returning-character skill reset before spending new points.
