Blood and Wine ending: keep Anna Henrietta and Syanna alive

Preserve the fairy-tale route and Syanna’s protection, then investigate the fifth victim and pursue reconciliation before the ceremony.

Keeping both sisters alive requires preparation before the final ceremony. Follow the fairy-tale route, obtain Syanna’s protective ribbon, and pursue the reconciliation investigation afterward. The Unseen Elder branch is not interchangeable with this route.

Keep the important earlier save

Save before choosing the route during the late Blood and Wine story. Read the relevant journal material when investigating Syanna, and keep another save in the fairy-tale sequence before you leave it. Getting to the final ceremony is too late to recreate every prerequisite.

The ribbon protects Syanna in the later encounter. Do not treat it as an optional souvenir if you are following this outcome. This route also does not mean every major character, including Dettlaff, survives.

Investigate before the ceremony

In Pomp and Strange Circumstance, pursue the fifth-victim investigation with Regis. The legacy walkthrough sends you through the bootblack and beggars’ shelter to discover the intended target. Visit Syanna before concluding the ceremony sequence.

  1. Complete the investigation rather than immediately moving to the public event.
  2. In Syanna’s conversation, acknowledge that her sister turned away from her.
  3. Encourage forgiveness and a meeting, rather than escalating the grievance.
  4. Keep a save before the ceremony dialogue to compare that final conversation.

If the outcome is already tragic

First identify which prerequisite was missing: the selected late-story route, protection in the encounter, or the reconciliation sequence. Load the nearest save that still precedes that decision. Repeating the ceremony alone cannot restore a character who died earlier.

For the base campaign’s separate ending, see Ciri’s supportive choices. This guide summarizes a legacy route and does not establish a Remastered patch that rewrites completed expansion choices.
