Little Red in Yantra: wait until dusk and choose Bertram’s fate

Wait for Little Red’s arrival at dusk, then choose whether to surrender Bertram or fight her band and werewolf form.

Little Red arrives in Yantra at dusk in the legacy quest route. After the villagers ask for protection, wait for the confrontation. You can surrender Bertram or fight the band; Little Red becomes a werewolf during the combat branch.

Accept the village request

Speak to the villagers in Yantra in the Novigrad outskirts and agree to help. Then compare the current objective and in-game time. Looking for the outlaw during the wrong time window is different from an encounter failing after the correct trigger.

Keep a manual save before the confrontation. The two outcomes resolve the village problem differently, so decide which character’s fate you want before choosing a response.

What each branch means

ChoiceDocumented result
Let Little Red take BertramShe kills him and leaves
Defend himFight the band and Little Red’s werewolf form

For the fight, distinguish the human enemies from the werewolf: the historical walkthrough recommends dealing with the men using steel before turning to the monster with silver. Do not assume the dialogue branch is merely cosmetic.

Confirm the resolution

Complete the aftermath conversation on your chosen route and check the journal. If you want to replay the alternative, load the save made before the confrontation. Waiting another evening after resolving it does not reset the story decision.

For broader regeneration preparation, see the werewolf combat checklist. Morkvarg’s special feeding items are specific to his garden curse and are not a general solution for Little Red. We have not tested a current Yantra spawn bug or a guaranteed Remastered reward amount.
